Yes, that title does say "1680s Blist". Why? I was trying to draw Blist in the English/European outfit worn around the time of the 1680s! Uhh ... why? It's for the

's contest, where you dress your original character in the outfit of a particular decade! You can check out the details here :
[link] The deadline is July 5th, so you still have some time to get yours in!
I think what he's wearing is the same style as Elizabeth Swann's father in Pirates of the Caribean, which is late Baroque. The other characters are in Roccoco dress I think...
Yes, Blist's face scares me too ;_;
The hair is a wig. Those wigs came in whatever colour you wanted. Kinda. King Louis of France had brown, and his son had blonde. So I gave Blist brown.
I made up the background, so it's 100% incorrect!

Except for the urn on the left (our left.) It's based on a urn from the same time period, but I don't know what it would normally be used for... lol, the clothing is incorrect as well.
Copic markers, Tria markers, Shin Han markers, Copic multiliner, Pentel white paint marker
lol, well I like it very much.
:] lookit him looking so elegant in his clothes.
*nod*
but he doesn't seem to be enjoying it..
He reminds me of Brian May.
I think I also said that the textures in this drawing are emayzeng. Because they are.
Thank you!
It's terrible, that you didn't already know, but Brain May is this strapping fellow here; [link]
I'd tell you who he is, but I figure you'll find out soon enough, anyways.
oh, yeah, he does look like him! XD Especially the hair...
Lines you can edit. You can't edit textures and details if your scanner doesn't pick them up to begin with. Anyways, you can't really tell where the white line was, so it couldn't have been that bad.
I just noticed that rather dashing fellow in the bust in the background.
Would he be interested in marrying me?
